“I have found Vickie’s way of inquiry to be a startling and an accurate reflection of myself that is supportive, kind and healing. I am certain that, for many of us, Vickie offers a type of brief therapy that will clarify the path to the future we most desire. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to work with her and to have her as an ally.”

Reclaiming Yourself through Video
With Vickie Spray
How can video be used in the therapeutic process?
Imagine being guided through your life-experiences and recording your journey in your own words. And then imagine watching yourself tell your story from a place of compassion that only time and distance can create. You will see your healing and your reclamation of SELF unfolding as you watch. This is your life on video and it belongs to you. Watching a video of even a small portion of what has happened to you in this life can move you toward the place that was never disillusioned, hurt or damaged. Your true spirit awaits your return.
How does it work?
An initial consultation takes place between yourself and Vickie to talk about the concept of this videotaping experience and what life story discussions you might like to have taped. Nothing has to be set in stone and this initial consultation is simply an exploration of possibilities. A time is then established for the taping, during which Vickie interviews you in a private, closed setting. Following the session, a DVD is created and an appointment is made to watch it with you, or it is sent to your mental health professional for the two of you to view together at a time of your choosing. Remember, it has been your life to live – it is now your story to tell, and to SEE!
Initial Consultation – $50.00
Videotaping – $85.00
Follow-up Session – $50.00
The original DVD and videotape and rights to such are the property of the client unless other arrangements are officially made by the client with Vickie Spray.
“Vickie’s interview on video allows clients to experience a sense of courage and triumph, as opposed to the fear, shame and helplessness they feel as victims. Then as they watch themselves on tape, they become their own compassionate witness, mother, rescuer and their own powerful guide in a journey to rediscover and reclaim their wholeness. Vickie’s innovative process will literally save the planet – one person at a time.”

A Client’s Response
“The making of this videotape allowed me to finally give permanent voice to the words that have been living inside me for so long. I’ve come quite far on my own in the years since I left my abuser, but taking this “guided tour” of my life with Vickie gave me the rather startling realization of just where I am on this journey of healing – far, far away from that victim I once knew.”
“Subsequently watching this video with my therapist started off as a bit surreal, and I finally mentioned this feeling as we got into it and began discussing what was being said. At one point she stopped the tape, turning to ask me what I thought about the person I saw speaking. I started crying because I had to admit to her, and to myself, that I thought the person I was watching speak was incredibly brave and courageous, not just for what she went through but for the telling of it. She was bright, intelligent, articulate, very much attuned to her SELF and her life, and I had to also admit that I felt a deep respect for her – something I have always craved but never felt (only because I didn’t respect myself). I know I’m not yet wholly attached to that person on the screen, and that many new doors have been opened by the watching of this tape, which is why I plan to spend more time allowing my therapist to help me continue on this healing path. I am so grateful for the making of it, for Vickie’s compassion and guidance throughout the process, and for her encouragement to use it as a therapeutic tool. That my story now has this permanence to it somehow gives me wings. I have spoken the truth of my SELF to another human being, and I am free, because now those words can never be denied by anyone.”
